Hi @PrettyBubbles thanks for this fun contest. I can't wait to add your beautiful badge to my collection @bearwithme
I love Halloween . I live alongside a cemetery so I'm used to creepy all the time. Actually my house is built on top of the cemetery and I have a grave marker right outside my back door. I don't find Halloween scary at all. This year I plan to stay home and hand out candy to any trick or treaters brave enough to venture my way. We are lucky if we get 5 kids show up. Some years we decorate our back yard as a creepy grave yard complete with fog machine and scary music and strobe lights. You would need to venture far into this creepy environment to reach the witches caldron filled with candy. Live werewolves would jump out from behind trees at those daring enough to enter. Many times we would end up with more candy then we started with as kids would scream, run, and throw their candy bags on their way out of the yard
It was a lot of fun. Many people from our neighborhood helped out by dressing as werewolves or skeletons. We even had two grim reapers appear and we had no clue who they were . They just silently ushered victims into our yard. Lol we would have made a killing( pun intended) if we charged admission.
I also live minutes away from the Pennhurst Asylum
