This issue has been happening with me too now for two weeks! And i didn't pay either.
Hi, I'm glad that I am not the only one with this issue. The last two events had been stuck on 3 amulets. Updating, logging off etc makes no differance, he issue is with the game.

What device and platform do you use
Also can you check yoh have the up to date version by selecting settings then apps then bw3
Scroll down you should be on version
9.6.1.0
Also from the same screen select Storage and clear the cache then log out and leave your device off for a moment or two
Sometimes overloaded cache can cause many issues
