How not to send lives?

When I need more lives and it ask to ask friends for some reason it automatically takes me to my fb friends and they ALL HATE HATE IT, and i dont want to bother them i used to be able to play with other players on the game but for some reason it just does it. Can someone please help me? I've emailed the site and they sent me here.

If you don't want to bother your friends, you need to disconnect facebook and just play in via the kingdom instead that way you won't bother them
Click on the cog to go into the menu and disconnect there.1 -
