How to get friends list back?

I joined this game because a friend of mine seemed to love it. She was the only person at the bottom of each game that I had as a friend. Then one day all of a sudden I have all these friends and she isn't there but I'm getting to do more because of these people. And the few days ago out open the game and I am back to that 1 friend. Where did everyone go? How do I get them back?

Thanks @JanetFields1 you didn't add if you play through Facebook. I asked this as there are no longer going to be any updates via Facebook and this could why. If you dont then I suggest you make sure your game is saved check you have no pending updates then log out of the game and turn your device off and on then play one level then repeat. This should reset any blips

@KimElston I am connected to FB, no updates pending. Did what you said and nothing. You know on the right side, above the tree of life there is a little Brown swirly thing where you add points and by the time you get to the 3rd treasure chest , you get 12 hours of play? That's my biggest beef with what is missing on the game
