Game "quitting" during a level

Has anyone had issues with the pop ups that says "game quitting" during a level? My Dad keeps having this happen and it uses up his lives.  We've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted his phone and it's still happening.  Any suggestions?

If like me he inadvertently touched the screen during play, the "quit game" window will open and give you around three seconds to cancel the "quit".. I have also used wrapped lolli hammers in a similar accidental touch when playing.

I think your dad's fingers must be accidentally touching the "back" button on his device which happens to me also sometimes. You can ask him to hold it a little above. All the best.

This happened to me in the "worldwide release" version of Candy Crush Friends. Pressing the Back button and then choosing Quit now in a level would literally quit the game. The good thing is that it doesn't happen anymore in the next versions.

You should try updating the game; that may help you.
