The game keeps closing ie black screen and/or 'duplicate tab' keeps appearing

Let me see what can I understand from this problem. Do you mean that by accessing a King game in your browser (which I think it's Internet Explorer because of the "IE" above), it crashes or places duplicate tabs? Duplicate tabs shouldn't happen unless your computer had a virus and you hadn't checked. You should check for viruses and see if a setting in Internet Explorer causes something to go wrong. I'd also recommend you to use another browser, like Firefox, Chrome, or (if you use Windows 10) Microsoft Edge.
