I have been stuck on level 259 for a week now

Is this level passable without using multiple paid for boosters  if not, I'm done playing

Hi @Roseadrew Welcome to the Candy Crush Friends Community

You do not have to use a paid booster on any of the levels   This level is difficult and if you do feel you need a booster you can do quests on earlier level for free collecting the booster stickers until you have enough for a booster but the level can be completed without those as well.
While you are playing watch for opportunities to make a color bomb or coloring candy. Then combo it with another special candy.  When you have a special candy on the board try to get your friends candy next to it.. When your friend collects all their candy it will put their special move on the board next to a pre existing special candy so you can do a combo, Also this board has a lot of blockers, try playing low on the board so you get auto matches above clearing some of the blockers and  animals for you.  You can find a sample video here in our video section Level 259 as sometimes it just helps to see how someone else does it.
