Don’t make levels so difficult that you lose all interest.

I’m on level 399, which isn’t even a “difficult” level, and it is impossible for me to get even close to completing the level.  I think that a challenge is ok, and I don’t mind that, but when levels are so difficult that it takes weeks to get by, if at all, one loses all interest in the game.  The point is for people to want to keep playing, isn’t it?  I have come across this problem with all three Candy Crush games, where I am at levels I just can’t get by.  It just makes me want to search for other games to play.  Is it really necessary to make the game that difficult?  I am almost at the point of giving up, especially since the next level is actually a “difficult” one.  And buying help isn’t feasible more than once a month, as the prices are astronomical compared to other games I play.  And the problem there is that even that doesn’t help to get through these levels anymore.
