    Yes, you can use the Gold Bars to get lives or any other boosters you want :+1:  It will be 9 Gold Bars to get whole 5 Lives and there will be 30 Bars in the Piggy Bank!  You will have to buy those Gold Bars from that Piggy Bank though!!
