Are you a poet?

Please let me start this off by telling you that I am not a poet!  The only way that I could ever write a poem would be with rhymes.  I asked Yeti for his help and he told me to look on Google for 'Funny Poems'.  So I took his advice and found some that made me chuckle.  He told me that he wants to be the first to share a poem so check out what he found!   

Hahaha Yeti.  That is a good one. 

Are you a poet?  What kind of poetry do you write?  Would you like to share some of your poetry here?  It could be serious or funny, long or short, rhyming or no rhyming.  The choice is yours!  If you cannot write poetry then you have the option of searching on Google for some.  So let's see what you guys come up with.

There once was a farmer from Leeds,
Who swallowed a packet of seeds.
It soon came to pass,
He was covered with grass,
But has all the tomatoes he needs.

Elsa

I need a front door for my hall,
The replacement I bought was too tall.
So I hacked it and chopped it,
And carefully lopped it,
And now the dumb thing is too small.

I didn't think that you would like this because you write serious poetry and this is just rhyming poetry.  I wish I could say that I created them, but I can't.

@Elsa That's true,I write poetry that might be too serious for fun Community like this 🙈 But I like any kind of poetry 😊

Here is one of the poems. It's about orchids as I love them very much.

The prettiest of them all

Her head is up in the clouds

Her crown violet and proud

I like to call her Lady of The Night.

Her elegance is known worldwide,

Celebrated as royalty

A True Queen in the flower kingdom

Will never let you forget her.
