Why don't I get progress on multi-day challenges?

In the last couple of weeks there have been multi-day challenges, such as 'Complete 4 cookie levels,' or 'Comeplete 4 jam levels,' and now Complete 4 octopus levels. For each challenge I have completed the required type of levels, and still showed 0/4.  Is this a glitch?

Joining into the conversation along with my friend @Foley1362🤗   When you played those Jam Levels or Octopus levels, did you play new levels OR re-play some of the old levels? 

 The reason I am asking this is, I too had 2 of these challenges -- Win the Jam Levels and currently I am with "Beat 4 Octopus levels".  I have noticed with the Jam levels challenge that ONLY new levels are counted but not the old levels!!  By the time I have realized that, the timer is over!!  Now, with "Octopus Levels" challenge, I have only 2 levels in whole episode and I am not sure I can reach another episode within time!!

I've played both new and old to check. On the jam challenge, I'm above level 1000, so my jam levels were the darker purple, but the challenge didn't specify that it was only the lighter jam.

Yeah, for the Jam challenge - the Purple Jelly is not counted but only the Red Jam!!

So..  only new levels with red jam?  Which I don't have, since there's only purple jam at the level I'm at?  Aside from the screen shot showing red, nothing specifies that it had to be red. 

A friend if mine just told me she hasn't gotten progress on any of these challenges either.

Yes!  That's correct   Only new levels with Red Jam counts towards this challenge!  And the other ones are called "Purple Jelly" levels

And yes, I too heard that some of the players have not received rewards in their challenge!!  It was reported to the team.  Please ask your friend to post their complaint in Candy Friends Support through this link  https://community.king.com/en/candy-crush-friends-saga/post/question/support1
