Why do I not have the Holiday Calendar event

I have been playing and logging in everyday for a very long time now, my friends have the event but I do not.

I am sorry to hear that you did not receive the Holiday Calendar event in your game!!  It is because the King team wants to give the best experience to the players with their "special events".  In that process, they cannot add all of the players to those particular events.  That is the reason, some players get a different and others get another one and some players will not receive any event!!
