Changed mobile, and I lost a character!

Recently I manage to earn the new character, and was very happy. I Also yesterday changed my mobile and open the game with my Facebook account as always. I was at the exact stage I was at the last time, but there was also the challenge of the 10 stages that earn the character. Is it a new challenge, or the previous one? I don't understand!

    I am sorry, but before I can assist you with the issue, I would like to clarify few things please!!

    1) The new character that you have earned recently, did it look the same as the one with the new event?
    2) When you said "recently" how recent was that?  By any chance, do you have a picture / screenshot of that new character?
    3) When you said you were at the "exact stage", are you referring to the level in the regular game?
