So, the first screenshot is from my friend's game. There is a cap on the piggy bank.
The second screenshot is from my game, but there is no cap on the piggy bank.
I was wondering what is the difference between them?
Note: We never paid to open the piggy bank.

Sorry for getting back to you just now!
The reason that is shows different is because in the first case (Piggy bank circled in purple) the Piggy bank is empty - You need to purchase it if you wish to use it to collect and keep your Gold bars.
In the second case the Piggy is full and it means that you can use the 30 Gold bars as you please. If you're a new player, the first Piggy bank is on us, that's why you might see it different in your friend's game.
