In game question...

I have played many different bubble pop games...but so far this has been my favorite....Bubble Witch that is. I have searched through the discussions but can’t find my specific questions. In all other bubble pop games....you get a special bubble after 10 consecutive pops or drops of 10 bubbles or more. All I see is the cauldrons under her but I never see specials that break though say an impenetrable section. Am I missing something or is this just not a facet of this game?
