Slow internet, Game not connected, or some other reason, you may face such problems. You can check out some troubleshooting below.
Reset/Clear cache data from App Store - Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.

I hope you've performed the troubleshooting methods recommended by Kiara as I also believe that the reason you can use the gold bar is due to loading and connectivity issue during the game.
You may also check if your phone has enough memory space/storage for the system or apps to run smoothly. If storage is an issue, try to clear some unwanted files like videos or duplicate photos. These are the files that took up most of the space in the phone.

Hello @sudeepahr and Welcome to our Friendtastic community. We are here to help but sometimes need more information. Are you trying to use your gold bars when you have no more moves left and want to win the level? Here are two examples:
The first opportunity gives two options to continue play. As you can see, there is an option to get 4 extra moves by watching a video ad or get 5 extra moves by spending 10 gold bars.
If you choose to watch the video ad and still do not win the level after using the 4 extra levels, the next option requires 16 gold bars and gets you 5 extra moves and lots of boosters: one friendly charge + 2 striped candies, 2 color bombs, and 2 lollipop hammers.
This is the only way I know to use gold bars at this time.
