How about you tried to follow these troubleshooting steps of Crashing/Freezing issue/bug as this feature is still tested. (I hope haven't this happens! 😊)

it happens when we have slow internet connection or heavy load on ram.
Please Clean cache /History files of your device log out from game reboot your device and check for updates of game now try to connect after some time.
