Hello Friends! 🍭 Did you know April 11th was National Pet Day?

If you didn't now, you know. 😉

We didn't want that to go unnoticed so we figured we could all have some fun here & celebrate our lovely pets 'Friends style'.

🐾 How to participate / Rules 🐾

1. Post a picture of your pet & share something fun about them (maybe how they got their name or anything your pet likes or dislikes, do they know any tricks?, etc.). If you don't own a pet you can share a picture from the internet of a pet you'd like to own.
2. If your pet were to be made a character in the game, comment & let us know the following:

• What would their name be?
• What about their powers & abilities?
• How about their costume?
• What type of Levels would your pet be most helpful at?

• 5 players will be chosen randomly & receive 20 Gold Bars for their game.

I don't have any pets of my own, but I found one of these critters while I was digging out a dead shrub from my landscaping. My son identified it as a western blind snake -- a rather small, worm-like snake that is shiny dark purple in color. Since it lives underground, its eyes are almost useless, hence the name.

I would name this critter Indigo. It would have the power to "eat" blockers in a row or column. The costume should include a pair of sunglasses and be available on levels with licorice swirls.

My dog Willow

She hates the hot weather. Loves the cold wet, frosty snowy winters. She would be a great buddy for Yeti. Willows best trick is to spin. So her superpower would have to be to spin/shuffle the candies on a level.

@gr33n3y3z Thank you for your pet contest. 

1) This is my pet. As you can see, a cat. Her name is Nastja. By now she is already an old lady. We got them out of the shelter. When we got out of the shelter, she was 6 years old. That was 10 years ago. She is a lovely cuddly cat and likes to hide, like here in a beach bag. A real pocket tiger.

2) I can well imagine a cat as a character in the game.

In the game, she would be called Lissy. As a skill, I could imagine her flashing her eyes and destroying blockers or wagging her tail and distributing jam. Surely there are also pretty costumes for cats, a cuddly fur jacket or a small red coat with a red cape or yellow boots.

What a fun idea @gr33n3y3z. I don’t have any pets myself, but my daughter has a black lab that just turned 13 recently. Her name is Shadow.

I guess it’s kind of obvious how she got her name, she looks like most dog’s shadows! She likes anything edible, and any type of water like lakes, ponds, kiddie pools, but doesn’t like rain. She knows how to shake a paw, high five, and “sit up pretty”, which is sitting with her front paws off the ground. She can catch Goldfish crackers right out of the air when tossed at her.

If she were a character in the game, her name would be Snackers. Her powers would be after collecting 10 blue candies, she would lick two layers off a 2x2 square group of Carmel Cups under cookies, so would be most useful on Dunk the Cookies levels (as tempted as she would be to just eat the cookies!). I could see her powering up just before releasing her powers by sitting up pretty and licking her lips in anticipation! I imagine her costume would be a big bib around her neck, maybe with a picture of a slobbering tongue. 👅 Her victory dance after beating levels would be to run around the screen trying to catch and eat all the falling candies. 😁

I don’t have a pet, but we found this little one on the porch.🐣💕 It must have fallen off from the nest somehow. Sadly, it didn’t survive very long.☹️

• What would their name be? Its name would be Skye, simply just for being out and about the sky... ⛅️ with its soft feathers like a cloud.
• What about their powers & abilities? The powers is to break the difficult locked hearts 💕, or just breaking blocks in general.
• How about their costume? That would include a cape and some kind of armors.😄
• What type of Levels would your pet be most helpful at? “Fill the hearts” levels of course...❤️😄

this is Sandara, the pet dog of the family, she is of the Lhasa Apso breed, she loves to eat cooked carrots and roasted chicken (without seasoning).

If she were a character in the game her name would be: Darinha.

Her powers would be: for every 15 orange candies, she would throw 1 coloring candies on the board.

Her fantasy would be a beautiful red dress.

And it would be more useful at the levels of freeing the animals and spreading the jelly.
