If Red Rabbit can be used in this level, then it's Mint in alternate skin.

This is critical proof that those are Caramel cups, otherwise Nutcracker won't appear. After all, the standard CCFS doesn't allow someone not related to appear.

I also get the proof in later levels. Though, not all levels use alternate skins. 3096 doesn't have alternate cups and 3098 doesn't have alternate mints.

I've been wondering about this update too
I think caramel cups got a restyling in jam levels only, their color takes after the type of jam and they can have even a tell-tale berry on top. while caramel cups stayed unchanged in "dunk the cookies" levels (well, jam-themed pastries wouldn't make a lot of sense in these levels lol).
Anyway these new graphics looks so cool and yummy 🤩

One more detail. About the new caramel cups in jam levels, the color of strawberry is the same as the jam.
