@dananelle whatever you do don't restart your game....you'll lose everything as you already know that smart cookie there hmmmm...I don't like the cookie levels they are ridiculously hard....

Hi @dananelle. I know you're an experienced player and will have taken all of the usual steps, but don't uninstall as you'll lose your boosters. The only way seems to be to try Support. Perhaps they'll let you do it and keep your boosters. If not, a stiff drink may help!😃

Nope it just disappeared when event finished. Wasn’t too worried as I got costume on other device 😝

I had exactly the same on my phone, and did exactly the same as you, I got the costume on my laptop.
