I have not seen any difference when playing Hard levels in Candy Crush Friends Saga. Please try the standard troubleshooting steps to see if this phenomenon corrects itself or if it continues.

I now have the same " partical effect" that you experienced on Hard levels. It appears on all of my new Hard levels, but not on the ones I have already won. I don't know if this is a permanent change or a new feature that is being tried. I am copying our Community Manager on this message so she can investigate and provide a more definitive answer.

I've noticed that when I open the game for the first time, the particle effect gets progressively more aggressive as time goes on.
