The number of moves for a level is different on iPhone and iPad?

When I launch Candy Crush Friends Saga on my iPhone, I am given 2 more moves than if I launch the same level on my iPad. Why is that?

Is it possible that they start the same level with different friends / characters? 

Some friends (I'm not sure, but I think it's Yeti - can check it only after work in my game) have a special candy or +2 moves as a special power. Can you please pay attention to the strength of the friend you have chosen. When you start a level, pay attention to what is displayed in the upper left corner of your friend. 

In the picture, Misty brings a striped candy, Odus doubles the fish, and the red rabbit brings a paint bomb as a booster. Sometimes a friend displays +2moves. That might be the difference for you.

I'm aware that some characters give you additional moves, but using the same characters (with no additional moves) still results in a different number of movies on my iPhone and iPad.

@DrSchoen, do you have the same version of the game installed on both devices? I have version 1.93.2.0 on all my devices.

@DrSchoen that is indeed very strange. Can you please take screenshots with the level (from both devices). Once before you start it and once where it shows the number of moves.
