Character: Tommy the Mummy!

Don’t you remember Tommy from Candy Crush Saga? Let’s just simply say what he is: a mummy. There you have it, that’s all you really need to know to jog your memory (hopefully)!

What does he do?

Well, collect 20 Yellow Candies, and he’ll activate his ability! Tommy will target 5 random candies or blockers, and wrap them in a layer of mummy wrap (as I call it). Candies encased in mummy wrap can be freed by making a match next to it. When freed, the candies will activate special effects, depending on which candy it is.

What do you mean "special effects”? What are they?

Special effects are created depending on the color of the candy, and Blockers have a completely separate effect. Here’s a list of the effects, based on the sort of candy.

Every normal candy color (red is an exception): Destroy after unwrapping the candy

Red Candies: Have a 50% chance of not being destroyed after unwrapping

Orange Candies: Deal two layers of damage to blockers

Yellow Candies: Have a 25% chance to destroy another random Yellow Candy. Destroyed candies have a chance of destroying more candies, creating a chain

Green Candies: Destroy one adjacent candy

Cyan Candies: Randomize another Cyan Candy

Blue Candies: Transform into a random Special Candy with a 20% chance

Purple Candies: Has a 40% chance to destroy 5 random candies of any color

Blockers: Completely destroy all layers of the Blocker
