Alot of my friends are not showing anyone to the left or right of them when they complete a level.

Hi @SWilson1 warm welcome to our community at Candy Crush Friends Saga.

It's the same with me. This shows that you have overtaken all your friends and are currently the only one of your fellow players who has passed this level. My friends are also further down the map and it always takes a while for them to catch up with me.
When I return to previous levels (this is very easy with our "go to level" function and repeat a level, then my teammates are also shown to the left and right of my avatar.

Hi @SWilson1 if you have saved your progress with Facebook and Facebook is not available (like yesterday), no information can be retrieved from your fellow players either. In this case, you won't see any friends to the right or left of you.
