- Remember: Only shells on new levels count

I had the event but it didn't work like the stars counterpart back in the day. I could collect shells during gameplay and after completing the level the widget illuminated too but no leaderboard ever appeared. so no ranking, no rewards. in the end, the event even said the other players "beached me to it"??🤣🤣 the nerve lol
Only the flower race worked, from what I recall 🤔

@Lola_Pop for me it was exactly the same as with @Pitty_Kitty.
The only time a race worked properly in my game was the flower race.

Well l wasn't collecting shells because I forgot about this event 😅

I don't have Beach race and sunny tales event in my game

@Lola_Pop,this Beach Race event is another event I don't get. As I said, this always happens to me.

You’re not missing anything here, @tininha1975 . This type of event mostly benefits players in lower levels. Players in higher levels usually won’t be able to compete in a race like this. Also, the reward is very tiny, not worth it to me.
Another thing is, it doesn’t work properly. I’ve had the event 3 times, and I won the very 1st race, but never received any rewards. The other 2 times, the points (or stars/shells) weren’t even being collected at all.
