Hi @Lola_Pop and other weekend challenge hopefuls,
After reading the posts here I have questions.🤔
1) Is zero low or high? Would 101230 be four numbers or would 17890 be four numbers? Or is it both? Personally, I think zero is always low.
2) Do the numbers “wrap” at zero like I see players imply, such as 109870 would be five numbers? Personally, I don’t think the wrapping of numbers around zero should count.
3) Biggest question, is the winner the one with the single largest consecutive string? In other words, if someone gets a single post with five consecutive numbers, that would beat someone with 10 posts of four consecutive numbers? Or is it (as I was thinking), it’s the total of consecutive numbers in up to ten posts? For example, if I have 10 posts with four consecutive numbers, I have a total of 40 consecutive numbers?
Th answers to these questions have a huge effect on my strategy for this weekend challenge, or whether I even bother. I suppose I could just post my 10 posts, but If it’s simply the longest consecutive string, I would only do a couple of posts, assuming I could get a four of five string. But I don’t yet fully understand what makes a valid consecutive string! 🙄 (see questions 1) and 2) above)
As we won’t get an answer from @Lola_Pop until the challenge is over, any suggestions on how to proceed? It seems like an interpretation of the rules could determine the winner, and that makes this weekend challenge less than desirable to compete in.
I had all those questions too... but didn't even know I had them 😅, let alone would I have been able to put it all together so proficiently or with such composure. I'm here pulling the hair off of my head trying to figure out a strategy other than the now usual 'just wing it'... 🙃
