@MountainMom that is some task that you took on by write a message to each of us. It reminds me of when I was involved as a Superstar and our manager gave me the name "Mother of the Superstars". The funny thing about your words to me is that I never recognized my traits to be the same as my favorite animal. Guess we must choose those animals and we are drawn towards them for a reason. Thank you so very much for taking the time to post this for us!
@MountainMom .thanks for reading our posts and writing good thing 's about all the players. All the the things you said about the players posts are 💯 right. This is the reason the community thrive 's because, of people like them. You included. They give their timeand effort help others even though life is so busy now.
Hi @MountainMom ! Ok, I would have to say I seem to be most like an owl, because an owl prefers to sit and watch things around him and then think a lot before doing things. He CAN fly quickly, swiftly, and silently (soft wing feathers) to catch prey when they appear, but he would prefer to think things out and use his wits to make sure of his hunting before making his move. When playing CCFS, the owl will play quickly when the 30-minute boosters are going to expire, but otherwise the owl would prefer to carefully scan the entire playing grid, think about how different moves will affect the desired outcomes, and then choose the very best move for to achieve his goals, or the goals of his Dachs Delivery Service team, because the owl, of course, "Gives A Hoot!"
(These are just 4 of the owls in my collection. ) Cheers!
What a great choice, @UncleBob2! I wholeheartedly agree that you exemplify characteristics of owls. In your discussions about Dachs Delivery Service events, you clearly think about how different moves will achieve desired outcomes, and then you help players choose the best moves to achieve quest goals. Like you, my mother-in-law loved owls and had a collection of them. And, I love that the mascot for my grandchildren's elementary school is the owl!
Um, since you mentioned owls as school mascots, you might mention to your grandchildren that the owl is also the official mascot of Rice University in Houston, Texas. Both of our sons graduated from Rice University and we visited them as often as possible during their studies there (distant from us). It is an academically-oriented school and has a very tolerant but achievement-oriented student culture, which all results in a large percentage of their undergraduates pursuing advanced studies. But I think Odus would fit right in! Cheers!
