Calendar week 1 day 7 bug - ended without allowing play

I have been playing the calendar daily. It updates to the next day around 4am my time. Today was the beginning of week 1 day 7. The timer said i had 17+hours to complete the day. But when I clicked to open the level, it immediately switched to week 2 and told me I had missed out on day 7 and the big final prize for completing all the days/weeks. This is a bug as my day 7 hadn't even unlocked until this morning while I was asleep. Please help.

I am sorry to hear about the issue in your game!! But, day 7 was supposed to be on Sunday as per my game and many others!!
