The rules for each contest are on the top of the first page of each one. You have to follow the rules exactly. If you need to take a screenshot or find a gif, then you must do that.
To enter the contest you go to the bottom of the page until you find the empty comment box, just like you did here. Use the picture tool to add a picture or screenshot from your saved files. Use the Insert Media tool for gifs and other links and the use the paperclip for files. Just click on each one to see what they do.
