Dear community,
A great saga needs all sorts of heroes and that’s why we embrace and celebrate what makes us different rather than what makes us the same.
What is Accessibility?
Accessibility is the degree in which our game can be made playable to as many people as possible. By improving the accessibility, we can make the game more inclusive, as it allows different kinds of people with different kinds of limitations to all be able to enjoy it!
Here are some kinds of disabilities we are trying to keep in mind:
Here are some examples we’ve got so far:
🌟 We would love to hear about the ways Candy Crush Friends Saga is helping you in terms of accessibility - or anything that could help! And even more, we would love to know if you are experiencing specific difficulties while playing. All your feedback will be helpful to keep on delivering the best for you.
Thank you so much everyone and Happy playing 🙌
Stay safe and happy 🍒
Hello @QueenMia
I think this is great that you and the Game Studios and everyone else involved are trying to discover and ultimately address some of the accessibility issues.
I suffer occasionally from migraine headaches, and bright or flashing lights sometimes will trigger one. Opening the gift box is too flashy, but if I remember to dim my screen when I play, it doesn't bother me too much. What bothers me A LOT is some of the movements of the characters when I switch outfits. The blasting guns, etc are too much, even with a dimmed screen. I pick the least offensive of the outfits when I play, or else I have to cover the bottom of the screen so I can block them out while I play. They are so darn cute, but all of that flashing is too much.
Thank you for asking.
One thing that you added on the Windows 10 version is that the candy you select now pulses with light, whereas before there was no visual confirmation that your selection had registered. Just a small thing that makes a big difference and could help with some disabilities. Thank you 😊
