When I'm stuck on a level I found very very frustrated to keep replaying and replaying. So I have an idea that lets players use an amount of gold to skip a level.

Gain money while you're playing your favourite game
I think, It would be great, if players can have a chance to sell their own golden ingots to one another. For example, suppose that you have 1000 ingots, now imagine, you have a priority to set a price for 1 ingot, or you can sell them all together, in any way. Deferring free lives and play
This may have been mentioned before, but I'd like to suggest that if we are given free lives, or an hour's free play (for e.g. If it's part of the daily log-in booster), that we have the option to defer until we need it. I always seem to win an hour's free play (or more) when I don't have the time to use it!
