Device: Nokia Lumia 520..... OS: Win 8.1..... Current Level: 350 History of issue =
March 20th tried to buy gold bars, got error message "d0000027". Searched days for clues, did the following... 1- Checked Advertising ID switched on, it was OK (last upgrade turned it off without notice, no game for days!!!) 2- Multiple re-boots inc' re-inserting battery, SD card and SIM 3- Checked Microsoft account for payment options, added additional option just in case. Net result was game still played fine, connected to web etc, but still won't make online purchases. Next I accepted invite from nag-screen to add a nickname. Did this inc chose nickname, avatar, confirmed email and password and was told by dialogue this would protect my level whatever happened to my device.
The bad now gets worse. Restart CCS and now suddenly I'm back on level one!!! WTF? Try to log-in via game, enter e-mail and my correct avatar and nickname appear but I'm told my password is incorrect! Click "forgot password", get message about an e-mail with instructions on how to reset password. E-mail arrives as a generic message with no instructions at all. Try King.com option for...Recovering passwordJust click this link, enter your email and we will send you a mail with further details.Message says "we sent mail" but none received.
Question. If there is no way forward (or back) for me who do I approach for a refund on the funds I've invested in this game only to suffer a denial of service? Is it King or MBNA?
