mixing a color bomb and a fish

When I mix a color bomb and a fish the fish turn speckld but only eat 3 candies. It used to be that when you mixed these two candies it turned all candies of that color into fish. What is the point of mixing the two candies if the fish just play the same as if you had played it normal? Super annoying you can mix any other combination of special candies and get something special but not these two?

Hi Kateri, I think you might be confusing games. I play all 3 Candy Crush games (Saga, Soda and Jelly). When I play on Saga matching the two only makes the fish turn into 3 speckled fish and they clear 3 squares but then they swim away and it looks like 6 jelly fish now swim to clear squares. I watched this last video until I saw the fish and the color bomb and it's the same as Soda.

Please also remember that the speckled fish will only turn into new fish if they eat a square with piece of candy. If they eat the jelly from beneath a blocker, they will not produce a new fish (same happens when you combine a fish with a striped or wrapped candy)

I don't think Kateri is confused because I remember it doing the same thing and I have only ever played CC Saga, not the other two. Why did they change it. The fish+color bomb combo used to be awesome. Now it's just like using a plan fish; total waste of a color bomb.

I just combined fish and colour bomb and it took out 12 jellies but I actually thought it would be more spectacular as there were 77 jellies to start ☹️
