What is new booster (white ball, small blue stripes)?

I just noticed I have a new booster available during game play. You know, along with hand switch, hammer, flying saucers, party favor (out of these). This one looks like a white ball with lots of small blue (perhaps purple) stripes. I have two. What do they do?

Ok I just posted the question in my Facebook group and a member just answered saying that it replaces the paint brush. I just wrote the member back asking if you have to be playing a level and you can click on it or if it is showing up before you open the level and you can click on it and it gets added into the level. I'll update you when I have more information.

Ok this is what it is all about. I just opened my game and I have it too. It is the same as the paint brush so you can turn any candy into a striped candy. You already found out that you can only see it once you start a level. I assume once you use these 2 that you might be able to purchase more.

Obviously I don't know what it does, that's what I'm asking. I only have two, so I'd rather not waste half of them just to find out. It showed up beginning at 3726 I think.

Hi Noble, I haven't seen it yet. It must be a brand new thing and you are a tester! Could you do a print screen and upload it here so that I can see what it is?

Is there a moderator on the forum anymore? This glitch just started today, the new levels that were just added are not syncing across my devices. All are up to date. Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
