Hi @hdunn1975 are you referring to the daily spinning wheel with the jackpot? The Jackpot is comparable to winning the lottery. It really comes down to luck and chance as to where it will stop. Although you might be discouraged because the spinning wheel never landed on it, please keep in mind that you can always win a free booster when playing the Spinning Wheel daily and it’s free!These higher levels require boosters to clear. Have you ever played the Sugar Drop challenge? You can get up to 13 free boosters every 8 hours. You can read more about it here:
When you mentioned the holiday booster were you referring to the party popper? If so, this came out as a free reward for the 5th year anniversary of the game. It's not yet available for purchase.

Hopefully this video of Candy Crush Saga 3853 will answer your question. The GOAL is to Clear All The Jelly & Collect All Ingredients! 67 Jellies & 21 Cherry Clusters In 21 Moves. Unfortunately, with the INTRODUCTION of the BUILD-A-BOT COMPETITION, there is NO LONGER A DISTINCTION between EASY, HARD, SUPER-HARD or NIGHTMARISHLY HARD LEVELS. All of them are NOW EXTREMELY HARD with LESS MOVES than PREVIOUS GAMES of the SAME LEVEL.
As far as your question on the JACKPOT. The only JACKPOT that I know of having played CANDY CRUSH SAGA GAMES and POSTING THE GAMEPLAY VIDEOS on YouTube is ONLY AVAILABLE on the DAILY BOOSTER WHEEL. I ONLY LANDED on the JACKPOT ONCE and that was it. It NEVER HAPPENED after that. The ODDS of GETTING HIT by a LIGHTNING is BETTER than WINNING that. NO PUN INTENDED.
