Working hard by creating Powerful Candies of Striped and Wrapped in combination with the Color Bombs making your Screen light up like the sky on Independence Day on Sugar Drop Levels will reward you with Free Gold Bars of x2, x3 or more . The fun part, the Gold Bars accumulate at a faster speed doing these.
If I’m playing a hard or super hard level I max out my boosters. First I hopefully have a full build a bot, then I’ll add a fish or coconut wheel (depending on what type of level) and then also add a cb and stripe wrap. With all these boosters available, if I start with a dual cb combo it usually clears a lot of the board and opens it up pretty well. On easier levels it can sometimes win the level on the first move. I collect sugar drops every day to make sure I have the boosters available.
Actually I have found the coconut wheel extremely helpful and sometimes it is the extra help needed to beat a level. I agree that there are times when boosters can hurt, especially if you need to collect something like chocolate and don’t want to remove it too soon before it grows to the amount needed to win the level.
If you have your candy crush signed in to your fb on more than one device , when you run out of lives make sure you are closed out of your candy crush on other device and when you open it you will have full lives.... So you can keep playing on another device while your other device gains it's new lives... Just a way to keep going longer!!
Why do you think they are useless? Coconut Wheels are among my favorite Boosters because they can go in any directions I want them to go. They turn any 3 Plain Candies to Striped as they roll through them wiping 3 rows of candies on the board giving me more scores. The only time I don't have control of where they go is when they get hit by explosions. Either way, they are very useful.
