I like the score levels as they require a different strategy. Variety is the spice of life.

Levels where you need high scores are to teach players to make combos and use them. They can be really hard. Once you figure out that you get lots of points from wrapped candy hit into color bombs. And striped candy hit into color bombs and learn to see possible ways to construct them it will be easier. When its really hard you can cheat with hand swaps and hammers to create them.  Candy crush has tried to make it easier for people to understand where they get the most points by showing colored numbers that go up toward the scoring when you see lots of numbers going up you know that that combination gave you a lot of points . They really used to aggravate me but now its a new challenge.
