Since yesterday I cannot hear the sound effects when I play Candy Crush. I can hear the music though. Any thoughts on what the problem is?

Hello @Joosy! Welcome to the Community!

You have to adjust what you want to hear from your Game Settings from your Game Map by clicking on the Dark Pink Button on the Bottom Left of your Screen. I sympathize with you. Hearing that repetitive music sometimes drives me nuts. I disabled the Music and just left the Sound On or Enabled. Below is the ScreenShot on mine.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks!

    Hello @Joosy
We would like to welcome you to the king community. Thank you so much for being willing to joining😊

It's not a big problem. Maybe you are off the sound effects switch by wrong click, and you can turn it on😊See the picture below👇

Having played for years, I know what each of these buttons do. I am not an idiot. I have the button off for the music and the button ON for the sound effects. Sheesh! Really?? How dopey would I be if I hadn't already checked this. My point IS that the button is ON for SOUND EFFECTS but I am STILL not able to hear them. I am only getting the music. Anyone with an intelligent and helpful answer is appreciated.

No one is accusing you of anything. We are just exploring the possibilities. You have to calm down if you want your issue to be resolved. If you try to insult anyone here, no one will make an effort to give you a helping hand. We do not appreciate your Out-Of-Line Comment!

I didn't realise there are comment police on here. Not really bothered if you help or not to be honest. Perhaps you shouldn't take the comment so personally. Did I direct it at you? I am also zen. Take a chill pill dude.

    Hello @Jossy 😎
However, you could not explain your problem, which we now understand. Actually I've never heard of this problem before, or this is not a problem. Since the problem is new, the solutions can be disagreeable, you have to be patient.
I'll ask you to do some troubleshooting test...What device you using for this game?
    If an Android 👇
     Check your app update
App developers are giving their best to deliver a great experience to the users, which is why they are constantly working on improvements. If users complain about the issue, including freezing and crashing, developers will fix it with an update.
That is why it is essential to regularly update all your apps or at least the ones you use daily.
     Update the device software
If there is a software glitch, you can get rid of it by installing the latest software version. A new version will improve the overall performance of your device and its security and it will also bring bug fixes. If you didn’t enable automatic updates on your device,
you can see if there is an update manually:
    Go to Settings
Scroll down and tap About device (About phone, About tablet)
Tap Software Update or System update.
     Restart Your Device
You can always try to restart your device when you meet any device problem. Press and hold the power button and tap Restart option. It can help you close all the apps running in the background and make space for you to run the wanted apps.
    Clear App Cache
It will help you delete the unnecessary app cache that causes the crash. Go to Settings > Apps/Application manager > Choose the app candy crush saga > Tap Clear cache option.
    Free Up Storage Space
To make enough room for the wanted apps, there are two options: delete files from device or move the files to SD card. You can remove some useless apps, old photos, videos and songs to free up space. Or move unnecessary apps to SD card: go Settings > Apps or Application manager > select one app > choose Move to SD card option.

    Please let me know......😊

    @Joosy

Look at your Comments Side-By-Side. Did we accuse you of anything for you to be this mean? Were we the ones who took the comments personally or was it you? There were only 2 people who responded to your posting so who do you think are you addressing your comments to? Was it a fly on the wall? For every finger you point to someone, one is pointing back at you. Here is what you said "Anyone with an intelligent and helpful answer is appreciated". That was a very mean statement coming from someone who doesn't know the difference between a "Sound Control" and "Sound Effects". If you don't have anything nice to say "Don't Say It!"

@Joosy Did you ever end up finding a solution to this problem, as I have exactly the same issue. The sound and music buttons are both 'ON' and the volume up on my computer but no sound at all. I check with other apps on my computer and the sound works fine, just not in the game. So frustrating.

Had the same, I have an iphone so everytime I have to close candy crush from running on the background, then I open it again and blam it works perfectly.

this issue had nothing to do with turning on the sounds because it was always on but once its running on the background and then you start to play later again, it doesnt have sound. Close it and then start again and it will be solved.

  • Hi @TatyNL Welcome to the King Community.

I don't think there is a problem with the game, I think your device has a problem so you should follow some troubleshooting steps here.

    Thanks!
