For what different reasons are comments reviewed for approval before being posted?

When I  go to post a comment on a couple of occasions I have gotten a small message that states "comment will appear after it is approved" or something similar to this.  For what different reasons is a comment reviewed?  Do I mistakenly send up some kind of red flag? Curious minds want to know? Thank you in advance for your help. 🙃

Hi @Scooterpie, that has happened to me too.  I have no clue why it happens and sometimes it says pending approval.  When that happens to me I send a message to @Jelly Jenny who is the community moderator and she can release it.

Hi @Scooterpie - as stated above, I think it may just be a temporary hiccup I usually just wait a minute or two and then try again when it occasionally happens.

To help Community stay tidy we have filters that may sometimes catch some messages in error. We release the filtered messages if they end up being okay to be released. So if this happens to you at times, and the message hasn't been inappropriate or a duplicate, don't worry it will be released later.

The messages are released manually, so one of us will review and release them.

That's what I thought then I must have read your message wrong.  Because you said "don't worry it will be released later" so I read that as it releasing on its own.  Thanks for clearing this up for me!
