The recent change to "timed boosters"

The recent change to some reward boosters to "Timed Booster" rewards is extremely frustrating. My suggestion is to go back to reward boosters that do not have a time limit to use them. More times than not, the timed boosters are showing up when I only have 1 life left and in some cases when I have no lives left and the booster times out before I get another life. It is extremly frustrating and over time it has effected my interest in the game.
