Trophy feature gives no rewards

These past two weeks CCS has introduced trophies for each episode.  After every completed level a screen comes up in regards to getting some form of trophy for winning levels.  No matter if I get gold or silver I seem to get nothing after completing the episode.  If the “reward” is a timed booster I pay no attention as they’re useless...is anyone getting tangible rewards for obtaining these trophies?

You don't get rewards for the trophies, not that I have noticed anyway. The only reward I get for complain episode is gold bars.

New levels were released today and yet again I got nothing for the trophy even though after every level completed a screen comes up which tracks my progress towards them.  I even checked the status of the useless timed boosters and none of them were “awarded” either.  Is it just me that’s getting nothing out of this “feature” or is this glitch more widespread?

Then what’s the point, who would care if there’s no reason to try to get them?  It makes no sense...

I have no idea what the point is, but all I know is that you get trophies by completing levels or by getting sugar stars. You get nothing from getting the trophies, it's just a feature to make gamers feel more competitive.

If there wasn’t a point then it wouldn’t be featured after every level completed...

Again today as I completed all of the new levels this feature was prominently displayed after each completed one.  I find it hard to believe that no rewards would be offered when such a big deal is made about the various levels of trophies.  

As for Sugar Stars they’re pointless, there’s no reward for getting them, at least not in my experience.  I’ve gotten them on a bunch of levels yet nothing happens when I do even with all of the fanfare the game creates for them...

Thanks for sharing that link.  Seems like this is yet another pointless added feature like the piggy bank, scrolls, sugar stars, and gold pins - none of which offer anything at all to players.

As for the episode races yeah I know you get gold bars for winning but that’s completely separate from the useless trophies.

It seems like the trophies are just meant to look pretty on the screen.
If there are no rewards associated with it I really don’t care. It’s just one more annoying thing that pops up between levels that I have to click through.
