I had to reset my tablet & now I have no lives that my friends had sent me, why ?????

Hi @lyndylou and welcome to the community. 
Lives and boosters on mobile/tablets work slightly differently to games on computer and are saved to the device memory not the game. So if you have to reinstall, they are wiped along with game data.
