@Von_3, my opinion is that any game is played for enjoyment and the challenge. The challenge is always to chase and conquer. In this case, being up there with the developers and the joy of reaching the top. KING could easily call a halt to the game, but I think they like to be challenged too.
Difficulty has definitely increased, with decrease in boosters, unless of course you purchase the boosters. Chasing the golden crown has now become useless for me.
Not to labor the issue, the band was formed in Leeds. Leeds United captain was Lukas Radebe, a South African. He played soccer for a South African team called Kaiser Chiefs. They changed their name from PARVA to Kaiser Chiefs.
Some mindless trivia
For me personally I can say been there, done that. There's absolutely no point in playing a game you don't enjoy so I just try to explore lower levels and improve my PB with limited resources. It brought the fun back for me and the 1976 challenge I loved. I just feel so sorry for all the players who didn't reach the end at some point and are faced with months of frustration.
@Von_3, according to KING there are 2 million players that reached level 5000 and above, so its reasonable to assume that some has reached the top. Again, according to KING there are roughly 45 million active players and again its reasonable to assume that the % that are on top is not as significant to warrant the wholesale changes. Could the decision be something else???
Well Albert, perhaps other people have ideas - I certainly don't unless the the new owners just have no idea what they are doing. It must be working though otherwise they would have back-tracked.
I did comment in an earlier post that it was interesting that King or whoever it is now is spending a great deal of money in advertising on TV, Facebook etc. Companies often do this when their turnover is suffering.
