I very much doubt that everyone is now marching, unless they have 6+ hours a day and/or unlimited lives / boosters / funds.
How can anyone have fun being stuck on a single level all week? Most only get maybe 10-20 minutes a day to play.
I still haven't quit, but not marching through new levels. I just log in to my higher game for the 25 points each day so the rest of the fantastic 5 don't hate me too much. Started afresh on an old phone and it is more in line with the slogans eg. "Swipe away the stress of today."" Swipe match relax." etc. etc. Currently on level 241 and loving it!
Sure when I pick up a newspaper, I do attempt the killer sudoku for the challenge but I will still do the easier ones, because I enjoy sudoku.
What we have to remember is that the people now making the decisions are not the creators of the game and it has now got so far away from the original intentions they need to seriously think about changing all the slogans.
Activisons ultimate goal must be be to alienate and frustrate every player on the higher levels, and so in the end all players that have come this far uninstall the game. Then Activison does not need to make new levels anymore. And can continue to destroy the game for players on the lower levels. As I wrote on another thread here:
What's the point? King/Activision do not care at all about what the players think. All they care about is their bottom line and how to make more money. The ONLY way that King/Activision may change this back, is if a lot of players suddenly stop playing and uninstall the game. And I mean a lot of players. Not 10 or 100 or 1000, but a couple of millions or more. And we all know that is not happening.
