Why doesnt candy crush saga load?

Since the last update, candy crush saga doesnt load. Orange screen comes but after a few seconds the game closes. I tried restarting my device, cleared the cache. I don't want to reinstall the game, as i can't remember if i have saved my progress. I have seen some people with the same problem in the community which makes me think this issue is related to the last update.

@ezgiezgiezgi A few people have had this problem with android phones. it has been reported and i believe it is being looked into
