@SweetDemon Fantastic five custom teams is currently being rolled out. So if you do not have it now, you should have it soon.
to make sure your up to date, check for updates for your game and log out and restart your device. Then log back in.
Hopefully you will see the Fantastic 5 custom teams soon

@SweetDemon already answered you regarding this. the new fantastic 5 is being rolled out to everyone but it will take time for everyone to see it. So at the moment if you still have the old version you just have to be patient. you will get it and hopefully soon. There's lots of people waiting for the new version and they will see it as it is rolled out.
So both your pictures are the correct versions you are just waiting to get the newer version, which you should see very soon
To make sure you get it when available keep checking for game updates

Thank you for the screenshots. The top one is the latest "updated" version, in which we can create our own team. And the bottom screenshot is the old one, in which we are given random players and we have to finish the goal with them.
From the picture you shared, it shows that you still have the old version and the new one did not reach to your game yet. That is the reason, you are not able to "Join" or "Create" a team.
Once, you are added to the group of players to receive the event, you too can join a team and make it custom with your own friends.
But, as a player, we can only "update" our game App, and keep enough free space (minimum 2 GB) on your device memory and hope that the feature will be added to our game.
** And also, you must play on a mobile device to receive this feature. Once you open it on a mobile device, it will appear on the laptop game too.

Can you please post a screenshot of your Fantastic 5 team please?
Recently, there was a glitch with the feature and all our current team members were lost for some reason! They did not quit and did not go anywhere! But, the players would see only themselves as part of the team and no others!
To help you further, I need to see the screenshot please.

There's two screenshots, one from my game and another one from google. In the first one is how it's supossed to look the fantastic five. In the second one is how it looks on my game. I cannot leave the team, I cannot choose to join a new one or create one and invite friends.
You're saying that I need to wait for a new update to fix it up?
