If only some of your friends appear in the game it's most likely caused by the Facebook issue here:

Hi @Sirdroopy Welcome to the community.
In my opinion ur friends in the game depends on your facebook friends list. And over the years many people come and go. May be they have moved on or they r left behind in the levels. So u need to add more active players in ur facebook friends list.

@Sirdroopy . There is also an issue with profile picture spinning on facebook so if your not seeing you friends but are seeing blank avatars, this will still be your friends but due to the facebook problem you will not know its them. As this is a facebook problem we have no idea on a timescale of a fix for this

Thanks to all tho wonderful people who took the time to reply. None of those answers helped though. The friends I was playing with were very active and competitive. For example, every day I had to check my scores going back to level 1 as everyone was always trying to outscore the others. I would usually find at least twice a day where they beat my score and I would replay that level until I hot

Only 1 Friend shows up and I had at least 20 up to like maybe 1 or 2 weeks ago then they all disappeared except for 1. Was there an update that might have changed the settings?

@Sirdroopy If you have tried all the steps above with facebook permissions , i am guessing this maybe down to the facebook profile picture problem. As i to have lost friends from my game. I may be wrong but all seems to have happened at the same time.
As for update i could not tell you if this would have caused problem but would guess not as im on windows 10 and some of my friends not showing on that

Again, thanks to all those who were kind enough to respond and try to offer a solution. I'll come back to the game when I'm able to see my friends again. For my style of play, it's zero fun without competition. I hope they fix it soon. Take care everyone, be safe.
