Only option other than waiting for a fix is to try uninstalling, but this is not guaranteed to remedy the problem and also you would LOSE any stored BOOSTERS and LIVES

Yes agreed with freddy. This is a very complex issue and still no fix is available at the moment. You may try reinstallation but you will lose your boosters and lives in this case.
Or you may contact our player support either directly from the settings of your game or with this link.

Hello @del2000 and a very warm welcome to our wonderful King Community! As Sukanta mentions above - I have usually run into this issue when the game thinks I am no longer connected to the internet. The games rely on a strong and steady internet connection and if there is a slight disruption or drop in signal, then the game sometimes thinks you are now playing offline. Sometimes this can be fixed by following the instructions above (clear cache etc.). You might also try resetting your router. But sometimes the only solution is de-installing and re-installing the app as mentioned above and you WILL LOSE all saved (not purchased) boosters and lives, since those things are stored locally on your device and not on the King servers.

Email them directly from the game so they get all game data and can swiftly look at the issue. Go to Settings, Help Center, choose a topic and you'll find the Contact us button in the bottom.
