I got the required 80 levels in a week and did not receive the bars. I was easily done by the deadline. I spent money to get extra boosters/gold bars expecting that the game would live up to its end of the bargain. Can you explain why the bars were not put into my account?

Please do the standard troubleshooting by Log out, update your game application, restart your device and login again and check now if you get your rewards.
If still no then the only option is to contact player support directly from the settings of your game application. Or use this link to contact them.
You may need your id for this.

@sheila999 Hi and welcome. Sorry to here you have not received your reward from this feature
please check you game is up to date and log out and restart your device, then log back in and see if this solves your issue. Also if playing via an internet browser also clear your browser cache and see if this forces your reward to kick in
For any missing rewards
Please email Player Support directly from the game.
When sending an email directly from the game,
Go to the game's Start Menu, then Settings - Help Center - Purchases & Gold Bars - Contact us and send them an email
or alternatively you can use the contact us below but you need you game ID for this
