The disappearance of friends from FB list is a known issue but has recently been fixed. Please update your Candy Crush Saga app and make sure your phone has at least 2MB for such process. Then restart/reboot your device and log back into your game as usual.
Check if your friends are still there. If not, please disconnect your device from the internet, wait for few seconds and reconnect back to the internet. Play 1 level and see if your friends appear.
If still didn't work, log out from game, reinstall FB app from your mobile, if you're playing via mobile. Restart/reboot device, log back into your game via FB account.

Please note that there is currently an issue with facebook for lives due to which a lot of players are suffering but king studios have already reported it and working on the fix.
However please check below link and do the needful to make sure that the settings are correct.
@pascal76160 Hi and welcome, If you cannot see your friends this may be a connection issue. Please check your device and game is up to date and log out and restart your device then log back in and see if this resolves your issue
There is currently an issue with sending and receiving lives in the game please see post below for complete information
